We teach history at Penn Wood because we want pupils to explore the past and the present and to imagine how the future, shaped in their hands, could be different.  Children will learn about significant people, places and times, whilst developing a critical understanding of historical events from multiple perspectives.

 

History at Penn Wood will inspire curiosity in our pupils and our curriculum will help them to gain a coherent knowledge and understanding of Britain’s past and that of the wider world.
