Read Write Inc. Phonics lessons on Facebook and YouTube for children to watch at home.
We will release three short Speed Sound lessons with one of our trainers every day for the next two weeks. The films will only be available at the times below:

We will also release a film of a teacher reading a poem for Reception and Year 1 children to join in with at 2.00 pm every day. The poems will be available to watch again and again on YouTube. A great opportunity for children to learn these by heart!

Radio Blogging is a fun-filled show with all resources online and a blog on which children can publish their work.
There will be guest authors, a poem of the day shared by poets and the opportunity to share writing - stories, poetry and non-fiction.

Every day at 11am, you can listen one of David Walliams’ World’s Worst Children stories, so sit down, take a break, and enjoy 20ish minutes of pure fun!
The Centre for Literacy in Primary Education (CLPE) have a series of videos on their YouTube channel including stories and poems read by their authors, as well as sessions with the illustrators.
For as long as schools are closed, children will be able to stream an incredible collection of stories, including titles across six different languages, which will help children to continue to dream, learn and be children. All stories are free to stream on your desktop, laptop, tablet or phone.
