School Games Mark

The School Games Mark is a government lead awards scheme celebrating schools for their commitment to the development of competition in PE across their school and into the community. The award recognises the range of opportunities pupils have to engage in competitions both in and out of school, the number of pupils who participate in these competitions, the opportunity pupils have to become leaders and inspire other pupils to engage in physical activity and the links that schools make with clubs and organisations in the local area.

Currently (2020/21), Penn Wood holds the silver award.
