RECEPTION - ANIMAL VISIT

On the 5^th June, Reception were lucky enough to have visit from Amber from Wild Science. Amber brought in lots of different pets for us to touch and hold. We met Kelly and cockroach, Freddy the tree frog, Barry the bearded gecko, Stanley the snake and Hector the rabbit. We had a wonderful time learning all about the different pets. Amber told us about what they eat, where they live and their favourite activities. Did you know that cockroaches have a hard shell to protect them on the rainforest floor? All of the children were very brave and treated the animals respectfully. The children came back really inspired by their workshop and eager to share their experiences with their parents.
