Year 2 Hindu Priest Visit

Year 2 were delighted to welcome Mr Naresh Saraswat, Priest of Slough Hindu Temple, to Penn Wood School. Mr Saraswat gave Year 2 an engaging talk to enhance their Religion and Worldviews curriculum topic of Hinduism, where they are currently learning about the story of Rama and Sita and why Hindus celebrate Diwali. Mr Saraswat was very impressed with the children's knowledge of Hinduism and how many questions they wanted to ask him at the end!
