Year 3 - Kew Gardens

Year 3 thoroughly enjoyed their trip to Kew Gardens after the half term. The children explored exotic plants from around the world (including a banana tree!) and learnt more about the various types of orchids as part of the popular Orchid Festival. The children learnt more about pollination and it's importance in helping plants survive and grow to support their learning in science.
