YEAR 6 - HEATHROW CODING CHALLENGE

At the beginning of autumn term, 6 took part in an exciting afternoon completing the Heathrow Coding Challenge led by Spark! The task linked to our ICT curriculum and provided an enjoyable way for the children to explore their enterprise skills and to demonstrate how to be a team player. A range of challenges meant that coding and maths skills were both required. Lots of questions were asked about what life was like at Heathrow and now many children are inspired and are considering a career at the nearby airport.
