  • Safeguarding Update from Slough Borough Council

    Wed 18 Dec 2019

We have been asked to update you with  the following message from Slough Borough Council.

We have had two separate incidents across Slough where children have been approached by a stranger after school.

The incidents took place in separate schools (one primary school and the other at a secondary school)  which included a 9 year old girl on 2nd December and a 11 year old girl on the 12th December.

Both incidents have been reported to the police.  We do not want to cause alarm and wish to reassure the public that these types of incidents are rare and it isn’t clear if the two incidents are related.

We do ask that in the lead up to the Christmas break that children are asked to be vigilant as they leave school and where possible leave with friends or family just as a preventative measure.

Last week, Reception performed in their Winter assemblies for parents, carers and their siblings. We shared stories that we have learnt this half term, we sang wonderful Winter songs and we also shared some of our art work. Each class explained why some people celebrate Christmas during the Winter season and sang ‘Away in a Manger,’ a song about the baby Jesus.
The children put lots of hard work and effort into their assembly – we hope you all enjoyed it!

  • Bauble Workshops

    Thu 12 Dec 2019
Our children had a wonderful time creating a Christmas bauble in school and many parents were able to share in the experience with their children.  The children decorated a ceramic bauble with acrylic paints and are very proud of their work.
