  This month we're encouraging you to get active, get outdoors and take care of your body!  Let's reap the benefits of getting our bodies moving and breathing more deeply as a result of exercising, laughing and even singing! We don't all need to run marathons - there are simple things we can all do to take care of our bodies - for example unplugging from technology, getting outside and - importantly - making sure we get enough sleep!

  This month's theme is 'Mindful March'

   

  Let's take the time to pause, breathe and really take in what's all around us. This month we're encouraging you to take some time to look within. Learning to be more mindful and aware can do wonders for our well-being in all areas of life - like the way we eat, the things we notice or our relationships. It helps us get in tune with our feelings and stops us dwelling on the past or worrying about the future - so we get more out of the day-to-day. It can also help us identify what we're grateful for, which has been proven to help boost your happiness levels!

• Our Year 1 Bubble's Happiness Rainbows

  Our Year 1 Bubble have been working on one of Pie Corbett’s Talk for Writing booklets called Pippety Skycap. At the end, he writes a letter to say how happy he was to see the rainbow, how it made him smile, so he wanted to spread and share that happiness with others.
  
  Year 1 decided to so the same by drawing rainbows on wooden log pieces.  We think they are wonderful and certainly brought some happiness to us.
